10 mm Sapphire NMR Tube, 7" L
Product No. Price Each Quantity Action
WG-508-7 $684.99
Sapphire (Al2O3 single crystal) has extraordinary hardness and high melting temperature around 2000°C. Due to its single crystal structure, it has outstanding chemical resistance to corrosive solvents, including HF acid. These unique properties plus the zero background in most NMR experiments make it popular in the following applications:

•    High Pressure NMR up to 400 bar, tube only, no flange supplied
•    19F studies, especially studies with HF acid involved
•    29Si studies

Wilmad sapphire tubes have guaranteed straightness for optimized shimming quality and are tested in spinner turbines for OD fitting.

Wilmad recommends using epoxy glue if connecting to a metal gas line.
